THE STRUGGLE
Where it all began
Jhansi से हूँ -- वीरांगना लक्ष्मीबाई का शहर। B.Tech Computer Science किया और Bangalore में एक IT company में software developer बन गई। Rs 6 LPA salary। ज़िंदगी अच्छी चल रही थी। अपना flat का EMI भर रही थी। Family को पैसे भेज रही थी। सब ठीक था।
फिर layoff आया। Company ने 200 लोगों को निकाला। मैं उनमें से एक थी। "Performance optimization" -- यही reason बताया। 3 साल की loyalty, extra hours काम करना, weekends पर भी office आना -- सब meaningless हो गया एक email से।

THE DISCOVERY
A light in the dark
Layoff के बाद 4 महीने job search किया। Software industry में recession चल रहा था। Freshers से competition, AI tools की वजह से कम hiring -- situation बहुत खराब थी। Savings ख़त्म हो रही थीं। Flat का EMI pending हो रहा था। Jhansi वापस जाने का सोच रही थी।

THE TRANSFORMATION
Becoming an engineer
EDWartens का AIP -- Automation & AI Program -- LinkedIn पर देखा। AI + Automation -- ये growing field है। Software background + AI skills + industrial automation knowledge = high demand profile। मैंने research किया -- industrial AI engineers की demand 300% बढ़ी है last 3 years में।
Savings में से EDWartens course fee pay की। "ये मेरा last investment है खुद पर" -- ऐसा सोचकर join किया।

THE TRIUMPH
Victory at last
AIP course में CS background बहुत काम आया। Python expert थी पहले से। Data structures, algorithms, software architecture -- सब strong था। Machine Learning models build करना, Computer Vision algorithms implement करना -- challenging था but exciting। Industrial context -- PLC-SCADA systems में AI integrate करना, factory data analytics, predictive maintenance -- ये completely new dimension था।
VR training में smart factory simulation में AI-powered systems design और test किए। Wartens UK CPD certification with AI specialization। Final project: Industrial Quality Inspection System using Deep Learning -- real-time camera feed से product defects detect करने वाला AI system।
Wipro का AI & Automation division -- specifically ऐसे profiles ढूँढ रहा था जिनको software + AI + industrial automation तीनों आती हो। मेरा profile perfect match था। Interview में project demonstration दी, technical questions answer किए। Rs 11 LPA offer!
Layoff से Rs 11 LPA तक। Software developer से AI & Automation Engineer तक। जो company ने निकाला, उन्होंने favour किया मुझ पर -- अगर layoff नहीं होता, तो मैं अभी भी Rs 6 LPA की dead-end job में फँसी रहती।
