Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which a participant ("Student") may cancel their enrollment and/or request a refund from Wartens Automations Pvt Ltd (Brand: EDWartens India). By enrolling in any of our programs, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set forth in this policy.
This policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions and Placement Guarantee Policy.
2. Cancellation Before Program Start
Within 7 Days of Enrollment
If a student cancels their enrollment within 7 (seven) calendar days of the enrollment date and before the program commencement date, a full refund will be issued minus a processing fee of INR 5,000 (or equivalent) to cover administrative and processing costs.
After 7 Days but Before Program Starts
If a student cancels their enrollment after 7 calendar days from the enrollment date but before the program start date, an 80% refund of the total Program Fee paid will be issued. The remaining 20% will be retained as administrative and opportunity costs.
After Program Starts
Once the program has commenced, no refund will be issued for voluntary cancellation or withdrawal, regardless of the reason. The only exception is the Job Guarantee Refund described in Section 4 below, which applies only after successful program completion.
3. Cancellation After Program Start
After the program has commenced, no standard refunds are available. This includes but is not limited to the following scenarios:
- Student decides to discontinue the program for personal reasons.
- Student is unable to continue due to health issues (medical certificate may be considered for deferral to a future batch at the Company's sole discretion).
- Student relocates to a different city or country.
- Student finds employment independently during the program.
- Student is dismissed for violation of conduct policies or Terms & Conditions.
In exceptional circumstances, the Company may, at its sole discretion, offer a deferral to a future batch. Deferrals are not guaranteed and are subject to batch availability.
4. Job Guarantee Refund (200%)
200% Money-Back Guarantee
If EDWartens India is unable to place an eligible student within the 6-month guarantee period following successful completion of the program, the student is entitled to a refund of 200% (two hundred percent) of the total Program Fee paid.
Eligibility Conditions
The 200% refund applies ONLY if ALL of the following conditions are met:
- The student has successfully completed all phases of the enrolled program.
- The student maintained a minimum attendance of 90% throughout the program.
- The student passed all theory and practical assessments.
- The student submitted all required projects and assignments.
- The student actively participated in the placement process by attending all scheduled interviews (minimum 10) and applying to jobs shared by the placement cell (minimum 5 per week).
- The student did not reject more than 3 (three) Valid Job Offers.
- The student maintained professional conduct throughout.
How to Claim
- Submit a written request for the guarantee refund within 30 days of the expiry of the 6-month guarantee period.
- The request must be sent via email to info@wartens.com with the subject line "Job Guarantee Refund Request — [Your Full Name]."
- The Company will verify compliance with all eligibility conditions within 15 business days of receiving the request.
- If approved, the refund will be processed within 60 business days from the date of approval.
- The refund will be made via the original payment method or bank transfer.

5. Refund Processing
- Standard Refunds: Processed within 15–30 business days from the date of approval of the cancellation request.
- Guarantee Refunds: Processed within 60 business days from the date of approval.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of enrollment. If the original method is no longer valid or available, refunds will be made via direct bank transfer to the account nominated by the student.
- The Company is not responsible for any delays caused by banking institutions or payment gateways in processing the refund.
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@wartens.com.
6. Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Registration and application processing fees.
- Examination and assessment fees.
- Certification and accreditation processing fees.
- Any third-party service charges incurred on behalf of the student.
- Costs associated with materials, equipment, or software licenses provided to the student.
7. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations (including refund processing) due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, storms)
- Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies
- Government orders, sanctions, or regulatory changes
- War, civil unrest, terrorism, or strikes
- Power failures, internet outages, or infrastructure disruptions
- Acts of God
In the event of a Force Majeure, the Company will make reasonable efforts to resume operations and fulfill its obligations as soon as practicable.
8. Disputes
Any disputes regarding refunds shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If a resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, the matter shall be referred to arbitration in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
