THE STRUGGLE
Where it all began
Salem-ல ஒரு middle-class family-ல பொறந்தேன். அப்பா government school teacher. அம்மா housewife. BE Electronics and Communication Engineering முடிச்சிட்டு 2 வருஷம் ஆச்சு -- job இல்ல. Campus placement-ல select ஆகல. Off-campus drives-ல 30+ interviews attend பண்ணேன் -- எல்லாத்துலயும் reject.
"கல்யாணம் பண்ணிக்கோ"-ன்னு வீட்ல pressure ஆரம்பிச்சுது. Salem-ல ஒரு பொண்ணு 24 வயசு ஆகி job இல்லாம இருந்தா -- relatives என்ன பேசுவாங்க-ன்னு உங்களுக்கு தெரியும். "இவளுக்கு padippu தலையில ஏறல. கல்யாணம் பண்ணி அனுப்புங்க." ஒவ்வொரு family function-லயும் இந்த dialogue கேக்கணும்.

THE DISCOVERY
A light in the dark
ஆனா நான் compromise பண்ண ready இல்ல. Engineering படிச்சது marriage resume-க்கு இல்ல. ஒரு career-க்கு. ஆனா traditional ECE jobs-ல scope இல்ல. அப்போ தான் AI and Machine Learning field பத்தி research பண்ணேன். Industrial AI -- factory-கள்-ல AI use பண்றது -- growing field-ன்னு தெரிஞ்சுது.

THE TRANSFORMATION
Becoming an engineer
EDWartens-ன்ட AIP -- Automation & AI Program -- பத்தி online-ல கண்டுபிடிச்சேன். Python, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Industrial IoT, AI-SCADA integration -- இதெல்லாம் course-ல இருக்கு-ன்னு பார்த்தப்போ, "இது தான் எனக்கு வேண்டியது"-ன்னு feel ஆச்சு.
AIP course-ல join ஆனேன். ECE background இருந்ததால signal processing, sensor data analysis -- இதெல்லாம் easy ஆ புரிஞ்சுது. Python programming learn பண்ணேன். Machine Learning algorithms -- regression, classification, neural networks -- ஒவ்வொண்ணா master பண்ணேன். Computer Vision-ல defect detection model build பண்ணேன் -- factory production line-ல product defects automatically detect பண்ற AI model.
Chapter 4
THE TRIUMPH
Victory at last
Final project-ல ஒரு predictive maintenance system build பண்ணேன் -- machine sensor data-ல இருந்து AI use பண்ணி machine failure predict பண்றது. Trainers-ன்ட guidance exceptional ஆ இருந்துச்சு. Wartens UK CPD certification-ல AI & Automation specialization -- internationally recognized qualification.
Infosys-ன்ட Industrial AI division interview-ல என் predictive maintenance project present பண்ணேன். Interview panel impressed ஆயிட்டாங்க. Rs 9 LPA offer.
இப்போ relatives கேக்குறாங்க -- "Sangeetha எங்க work பண்றா?" அம்மா proudly சொல்வாங்க -- "Infosys-ல AI Engineer." அதே relatives-தான் "கல்யாணம் பண்ணி அனுப்புங்க"-ன்னு சொன்னாங்க. இப்போ "உங்க பொண்ணு மாதிரி என் பொண்ணையும் படிக்க வையுங்க"-ன்னு சொல்றாங்க.
