Where it all began

Tirupati లో Diploma in Electronics & Communication complete చేసి, ఒక company లో contract worker గా join అయ్యాను. Monthly salary Rs 11,000. PF, ESI లేదు. Job security లేదు. ఎప్పుడు తీసేస్తారో తెలియదు.

ఒక అమ్మాయిని ఇష్టపడ్డాను. ఆమె family పెళ్ళి proposal తీసుకెళ్ళాం. "అబ్బాయి ఏం చేస్తున్నాడు?" -- "Contract job. Rs 11,000 salary." ఆ answer విన్న తర్వాత వాళ్ళు politely reject చేశారు. "Settled అయ్యాక రండి."

THE DISCOVERY

A light in the dark

ఆ rejection నా life లో turning point. Rs 11,000 salary నాకు ఒక life ని deny చేస్తుంది -- ఈ realization hit అయింది. Love లేకపోతే survive చేయగలను, కానీ self-respect లేకుండా ఎలా? అప్పుడు decide చేశాను -- change అవ్వాలి.

THE TRANSFORMATION

Becoming an engineer

EDWartens గురించి ఒక former colleague చెప్పాడు. అతను EDWartens course complete చేసి Mitsubishi Electric లో placed అయ్యాడు. "6 months training. International certification. MNC companies లో placement. Go for it," అతను చెప్పాడు.

Victory at last

AEP course లో -- Diploma ECE background ఉంది కాబట్టి electronics fundamentals strong. PLC programming, SCADA, HMI, Industrial Networking -- ఇవన్నీ కొత్తవి కానీ fast గా grasp చేశాను. VR training లో Siemens S7-1500 PLC extensive గా practice చేశాను. Automation projects complete చేశాను. Wartens UK CPD certification exam లో distinction.

Siemens interview call వచ్చినప్పుడు -- butterflies in stomach. Interview లో Siemens PLC programming, TIA Portal, SCADA configuration, Industrial Ethernet -- అన్నీ confident గా answer చేశాను. Rs 8 LPA offer!

ఆ offer letter తో ఆ అమ్మాయి family దగ్గరికి వెళ్ళాము. "Siemens లో Automation Engineer. Rs 8 LPA." -- వాళ్ళ face లో expression changed. 3 months లో పెళ్ళి fix అయింది.

పెళ్ళి రోజు ఆ అమ్మాయి -- ఇప్పుడు నా wife -- చెప్పింది: "నన్ను reject చేసినందుకు మా parents కి కూడా thanks చెప్పు. ఆ rejection వల్లే నువ్వు EDWartens join అయ్యావు, Siemens లో job వచ్చింది." ఆమె words true. Sometimes rejection is redirection.
