Version 1.3 · Effective 2026-10-14

1. Agreement

These terms govern your enrolment on the AIP - Artificial Intelligence Program ("AIP"), an online course delivered by EDWartens. By signing, you enter into a binding agreement with Wartens Automation Private Limited. Our Privacy Notice forms part of this agreement and is signed separately.

Eligibility. You confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. EDWartens does not enrol learners under 18.

2. The course

The AIP is an online, self-paced, recorded course in the EDWartens student portal. There is no batch, no timetable and no live class: you study when it suits you. It has 8 phases, from orientation and an entry assessment to industrial AI projects. Every recorded lesson is open from the day you enrol; the assessments are taken in order (section 6).

The lessons stream from their creators' own channels or are EDWartens material; the study plan, notes, projects, assessments and career sessions are EDWartens material. We may improve, reorder or replace lessons and modules during your access period, provided the course as a whole continues to cover what is described on the course page.

You provide your own computer, internet connection and accounts for the free tools the course uses (for example Google Colab and GitHub). Some lessons use free tiers of third-party services; their terms and availability are theirs, not ours.

3. Fees, payment and refunds

  • The course fee for the AIP is ₹42,000 including GST, paid in full at purchase. The AIP has no instalment plan.
  • Every payment is receipted, and your payment and receipt are visible in the portal.
  • Refunds. If you ask for a refund in writing to info@wartens.com within 14 days of purchase and before you have started any lesson (opened a lesson in the portal), the fee you paid is refunded in full to the original payment method, within 7 working days of our agreeing the refund. After 14 days, or once any lesson has been started, the fee is not refundable for a reason on your side, such as a change of plans or not finding the time.
  • If we do not provide the course. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under consumer law if we fail to provide the course as described, for example if you cannot get access for a reason on our side. You can raise any complaint through the grievance process in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Access

  • Your access lasts 12 months from the date of purchase. When it ends, lessons, assessments, project submissions and bookings close; your certificate, if issued, stays valid and verifiable.
  • Extension. If you need more time, you can extend your access by 3 months for ₹7,999 including GST, up to twice (18 months of access at most). Ask admissions before or after your access ends. An extension runs from the day your access would otherwise end, or from the day you pay if it has already ended; it is receipted like the course fee and is not refundable once it starts.
  • Access is personal to you. You must not share your login, let anyone else study or sit assessments on your account, or download, record or redistribute the lessons.
  • We may suspend access while we investigate a suspected breach of sections 4, 7 or 8.

5. Your study

The AIP is designed for about ten to twelve hours of study a week, which completes it within the access period. Progress depends on you: we do not chase or schedule you, and an unfinished course is not a reason for a refund or for a free extension (a paid extension is set out in section 4).

6. Assessments and projects

  • Module quizzes are practice, with unlimited attempts.
  • Gate tests. Each phase closes with a gate test, which opens once the phase's study modules are complete and the previous gate is passed. The entry assessment (Phase 0) is 20 questions with a pass mark of 50%, and may be attempted 3 times before a 24-hour wait. Each later gate test is 25 questions with a pass mark of 70%, and may be attempted 3 times before a 48-hour wait.
  • Final assessment. 50 questions from the whole course, pass mark 70%, which may be attempted twice before a 7-day wait. Each new attempt after a wait is a freshly drawn paper.
  • Projects. Five industrial projects are graded by an EDWartens engineer against the rubric in each brief, usually within seven days of submission. 60 marks out of 100 passes; below that you receive feedback and may resubmit.

7. Academic integrity

Assessments and projects must be your own work. You may use AI assistants and published code as tools in your projects, as engineers do, if you say so in your write-up and can explain everything you submit. Impersonation, sharing assessment questions, submitting someone else's project as your own, or using unauthorised help in a gate test or the final are serious breaches. Consequences range from the assessment or project being annulled to termination of enrolment without refund, and revocation of any certificate obtained by them.

8. Course materials and intellectual property

All EDWartens course materials (notes, question banks, project briefs and datasets, assessments and recordings of career sessions) remain the intellectual property of EDWartens or its licensors and are for your personal study only. You may not copy, publish, resell or share them. The code and write-ups you produce for your projects are yours; by submitting them you allow us to grade them and keep them on your record.

9. Certification

The Artificial Intelligence Program certificate (the EDWartens AIP Course Certificate) is issued when you have passed every gate test and the final assessment, passed all five projects, and cleared all dues. It carries a unique number and is verifiable at https://edwartens.co.in/verification. We may revoke a certificate obtained through a breach of section 7.

10. Career sessions and job assurance

Your enrolment includes one-to-one online sessions that you book yourself in the portal: 2 × resume review (30 minutes, after you pass the Phase 2 gate test); 2 × mock technical interview (45 minutes, after you pass the final assessment); 2 × mock hr interview (30 minutes, after you pass the final assessment). Sessions are offered Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 18:00 IST, excluding published holidays. You may reschedule or cancel a booking up to 2 hours before it starts; a session you miss without cancelling counts as used. Sessions must be booked and held within your access period.

The AIP is a job-assured programme, conditions apply. From the week after you pass the final assessment, the placement team shares your CV and arranges interviews, and keeps doing so until you receive an offer letter from an employer. To stay eligible you pass every phase gate and the final assessment, complete and pass all 5 graded projects, attend every interview arranged for you, and apply to at least five jobs a week. The job assurance is this placement support; it is not a refund. The full terms are published at edwartens.co.in/aip-terms.

  • What counts as an offer. An offer letter from an employer, issued to you in writing, counts as an offer. Placement support ends when you receive one, whether it came through us or not, and whether or not you accept it.
  • How long it lasts. There is no time limit: placement support continues until you receive an offer letter, for as long as you keep meeting the conditions above.
  • What it is. The job assurance is this placement support: sharing your CV and arranging interviews. It is not a refund, and no part of the fee is repaid if you are not placed. It is not a promise of any particular employer, role or salary.
  • Conditions. If you stop meeting a condition, for example by missing an interview arranged for you or not applying to five jobs in a week, you are no longer eligible for placement support.

The Placement Policy and Job Guarantee of the Automation Engineer Program does not apply to the AIP.

11. Suspension, withdrawal and termination

  • You may stop studying at any time. Whether any part of the fee is refunded is as set out in section 3.
  • We may suspend or end your enrolment for a serious breach of sections 4, 7 or 8. Where we end it for breach, no refund is due.

12. Liability

We deliver the course with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for interruptions in third-party services the lessons use. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing in them affects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version you signed is recorded against your account and continues to govern your enrolment unless you agree to a new version. Where a change is material we will ask you to review and sign the updated version.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bangalore, Karnataka, India have exclusive jurisdiction, except that nothing here limits your right as a consumer to file a complaint before the Consumer Commission where you live or work, under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
