- Is there a genuinely free PLC course with a certificate?
- Yes. Every course here is complete and free: all modules, notes, practice tasks and assessments, with no card and no trial. The EDWartens Certificate of Completion is optional and paid (₹459), verifiable by code, and issued only after you pass the final assessment.
- Why does each course show a price crossed out?
- So the size of the course is visible before the price is. The crossed-out figure is what that much teaching is worth: it is worked out from the course's own length, module count and level, and benchmarked against classroom training of the same depth in Bangalore. It is not a former price and nobody has ever been charged it. Every course here has been free since the day it was published, and the only thing sold is the optional certificate.
- Which free Siemens PLC course should I start with?
- Siemens TIA Portal if you are new: it starts from zero and runs fully in PLCSIM. Take Siemens S7-300 with STEP 7 if you maintain older plants, S7-1500 Advanced after TIA Portal, and WinCC SCADA when you need the supervisory layer.
- Can I learn PLC programming online for free without hardware?
- Yes. Most courses run in the vendor's free or trial software with a simulator (PLCSIM, RSLogix Emulate, GX Simulator, CX-Simulator, the Micro800 Simulator, CODESYS). Use the 'runs fully in simulation' filter to see them.
- Do these courses cover Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron and other brands?
