Certificate Verification

For employers. Every EDWartens certificate carries the holder's registration number at the top and a QR code that links directly to this verification page. Scan the QR code, or enter the registration number above together with the holder's full name. Both are asked for because a registration number on its own would let anyone step through our records; with the name, the check confirms only the person you are already asking about. A successful check returns the holder's name, programme, certificate type and issue date, along with its current status.

For students. If you no longer have your certificate, search by your full name and programme instead. Your name must be entered exactly as printed on the certificate. Certificates issued before 2026 carry a certificate number in the format EDW-IN-YYYY-NNNNN instead of a registration number; that number still works in the same box, on its own.

Certificate status. A certificate shows as Verified when it is genuine and active, Expired when it was genuinely issued but has passed its expiry date, and Not Valid if it has been revoked.
