How to check an EDWartens certificate

Every EDWartens certificate carries the holder's registration number and a QR code. A classroom programme number looks like AEP08WI01, an online learner's like OLP09WI01, and a free course's starts with its course code, like TIA09WI01. Online course certificates carry a certificate ID instead, like EDW-IN-2026-00412, at the top right, with the QR code on the left. Enter the number with the holder's full name below (a certificate ID also works on its own), or scan the QR code. A match shows the holder's name, the programme, the certificate type, the issue date and whether it is valid today.

Printed at the top of the certificate. An older certificate number (EDW-IN-… or EDW-G-…) works here too.

How certificate verification works

For employers. Every certificate carries a certificate ID (online courses, like EDW-IN-2026-00412) or the holder's registration number (classroom programmes) at the top, and a QR code that links directly to this verification page. Scan the QR code, enter the certificate ID, or enter the registration number above together with the holder's full name. Both are asked for because a registration number on its own would let anyone step through our records; with the name, the check confirms only the person you are already asking about. A successful check returns the holder's name, programme, certificate type and issue date, along with its current status.

For students. If you no longer have your certificate, search by your full name and programme instead. Your name must be entered exactly as printed on the certificate. A certificate ID in the format EDW-IN-YYYY-NNNNN or EDW-G-YYYY-NNNNN works in the same box, on its own.

Wartens certificates issued before 2026. Certificates issued by Wartens UK and Wartens India, once checked on wartens.com, are verified here. Choose By Name & Course, enter the full name as printed and pick the course under “Wartens certificates”. The old wartens.com certificate link still works and opens the record directly.

Certificate status. A certificate shows as Verified when it is genuine and active, Expired when it was genuinely issued but has passed its expiry date, and Not Valid if it has been revoked.

Online course certificates are issued by Wartens Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company no. 15262249, 8 Lyon Road, Milton Keynes MK1 1EX) through the EDWartens training portal. Classroom programme certificates are issued by EDWartens (Wartens Automation Pvt Ltd), Electronic City, Bangalore.
