Version 1.2 · Effective 2026-10-13

1. The offer

Refer someone to one of our classroom programmes in Bangalore and earn a

referral bonus for each successful referral:

  • Automation Engineer Program (AEP): ₹2,000
  • PGDIA: ₹700
  • EPGDIA: ₹700

The bonus is the amount for the programme the person actually joins, whichever

programme you named when you referred them. Our free online courses and any

other course carry no referral reward.

There is no limit on the number of people you may refer, and no limit on the

total bonus you may earn, provided each referral independently satisfies these

terms.

2. Who may refer

You may participate if you are:

  • a currently enrolled EDWartens student; or
  • an EDWartens alumnus.

Employees, trainers, contractors and their immediate family members are not

eligible.

3. What counts as a "successful referral"

A referral becomes successful, and the bonus becomes payable, only when

all of the following are true:

  1. You registered the referral first. You submitted the person's name, mobile

number and email through the Refer & Earn page in your student portal

before that person enrolled, and before they were already recorded as an

EDWartens lead.

  1. They were not already known to us. The person had not previously enquired,

registered, been contacted by our team, or been referred by someone else. Where

an existing record exists, the earliest record prevails.

  1. They enrolled on the AEP, PGDIA or EPGDIA. Enrolment on any other

course, including the free online courses, does not qualify.

  1. They have paid their course fee IN FULL. This is the decisive condition.

A deposit, a first instalment, or any part payment does not qualify. No

bonus is payable while any amount remains outstanding, and a bonus is not

payable in proportion to a part payment.

  1. They did not withdraw, and were not refunded, within the qualifying period

in clause 5.

4. How much you earn

  • ₹2,000 for each successful referral to the AEP, and

₹700 for each successful referral to PGDIA or EPGDIA. The same

amount every time, however many people you refer.

  • The bonus is a gross amount. Any tax payable on it is your responsibility,

and we will deduct tax at source where the law requires it.

  • **Rewards may be subject to tax deducted at source (TDS) under the Income-tax

Act, 1961, where applicable.** Where TDS applies, the amount deducted is paid

to the government in your name and the bonus you receive is reduced by it; we

may ask for your PAN before paying, and a higher rate may apply without one.

  • The bonus is paid in Indian Rupees, by bank transfer to an account in your name.

5. When you are paid

  1. Once the referred student's fee is paid in full, we verify the referral.
  2. A 30-day qualifying period then runs, to allow for any withdrawal or

refund. If the referred student withdraws or is refunded during this period,

no bonus is payable.

  1. After the qualifying period, we pay within 30 working days of receiving

your bank details and any tax documentation we require.

  1. If a bonus has already been paid and the referred student is subsequently

refunded in circumstances that would have disqualified the referral, we may

recover the bonus or set it off against any amount we owe you.

6. Tracking your referrals

Every referral you submit appears in your student portal with its current status: submitted, enrolled, fee paid, approved, or paid. You can see exactly where

each one stands, and we will notify you when a status changes.

7. What disqualifies a referral

No bonus is payable where:

  • the referred person was already an EDWartens lead, student or alumnus, or had

already been referred by someone else;

  • you refer yourself, or use a false, duplicate or misleading identity;
  • the referred person did not consent to being referred, or asks us not to

contact them;

  • the referral details are inaccurate or cannot be verified;
  • the referred person does not pay the fee in full;
  • the referred person withdraws or is refunded within the qualifying period;
  • you make any false or misleading claim about EDWartens, our programmes, fees,

placement outcomes or the Job Guarantee in order to secure a referral;

  • you use spam, bulk messaging, paid advertising using our name or brand, fake

social-media accounts, or any similar method; or

  • you are found to have abused or manipulated this programme.

Please represent us honestly. You may share your genuine experience, but you

must not promise outcomes on our behalf. Misrepresenting the Job Guarantee or

placement results will disqualify the referral.

8. Data protection

When you submit a referral you give us that person's personal data. You confirm

that you have their permission to share their name and contact details with

us for this purpose. We process their data in accordance with our Privacy Notice,

we will tell them you referred them, and we will stop contacting them at once if

they ask us to.

9. Changes and ending the programme

We may amend these terms or withdraw the programme at any time. A change does not

affect a referral that has already become successful under clause 3. The version

in force when your referral was submitted is the version that governs it.

10. General

  • The programme is offered at our discretion and is not part of your enrolment

agreement. It creates no employment, agency or partnership between us.

  • Our decision on whether a referral qualifies is final, subject to clause 11.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at

Bangalore, Karnataka, India have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Questions and disputes

If you disagree with a decision on a referral, write to info@wartens.com within

30 days setting out the grounds. We will review and respond in writing.

In short: refer as many people as you like; you are paid

₹2,000 for each one who joins the AEP and ₹700 for each one who

joins PGDIA or EPGDIA, once they have paid their fee in full and the 30-day

qualifying period has passed.
