Free online internship for engineering students
EDWartens offers 16 free online internships for engineering students, in automation (PLC, control panel, commissioning, instrumentation, SCADA and HMI, electrical design) and in AI. Each is 4 weeks, online, starts on any date you choose, needs no card, and ends with a free certificate of completion that anyone can verify by QR code. It is a training internship: simulated tasks, no stipend, not employment. It is not an AICTE or UGC programme, and your college decides whether it gives credit.

AICTE and this internship: the honest box
AICTE (the All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Education) runs a National Internship Portal where organisations list internships for students; it describes itself as for AICTE, UGC, IGNOU and other students. Whether you can use that portal depends on your institution, so check the portal's own rules.
The EDWartens internship is a separate, free, complementary option. It is not approved, recognised or run by AICTE or UGC, and we do not say it is. A college may or may not accept it for internship credit; that is the college's decision under its own policy.
What we do give your department to check: a certificate with a number and a QR code, verifiable at edwartens.co.in/verification, and a page for colleges that explains the work.
What you do in 4 weeks
Every track has a week-by-week plan with short lessons, a weekly check, a work brief and a final quiz, with the AI mentor and the 3D lab included. For the PLC internship: week 1, plc basics; week 2, ladder logic; week 3, timers; week 4, counters.

Who it is for
Engineering and diploma students and fresh graduates who want practical work to show: ECE, EEE, instrumentation and mechatronics students for the automation tracks, and students and graduates from other fields for the AI tracks. Each internship starts from the first idea. For panel, commissioning and instrumentation, basic electrical knowledge helps. It is open to students in every country.
