Honeywell Experion PKS DCS: Engineering and Maintenance
The Honeywell DCS as a plant engineer meets it: C300 controllers and I/O, assets and control modules, simulation and forcing, HMI and trends, redundant servers, controller activation and replacement, networks and Experion HS.

What you will learn
Describe Experion PKS hardware and check its health, insert and activate C300 controllers and I/O, create assets and control modules and modify logic, simulate and force I/O safely, modify HMI, trends and alarm priorities, maintain redundant servers with synchronisation, restarts, replication fixes, archiving and backups, recover and replace controllers, and configure networks and Experion HS.
- Describe Experion PKS hardware, C300 and Series C I/O, and check health
- Create assets and control modules, modify logic and build first-out detection
- Simulate from a chart, force inputs safely and reconfigure channels by SOP
- Modify HMI displays, trends and alarm priorities
- Maintain redundant servers: sync, restarts, replication, archiving, backups
- Activate, recover and replace C300 controllers and run the CEE
- Configure switches for SCADA and set up Experion HS channels and points

A shareable EDWartens certificate
Finish every module and pass the final assessment, and you can buy a certificate for ₹700. It carries a unique verification code on a public page anyone can check, so it stands up when a recruiter looks it up.
- Add it to your LinkedIn profile in one click
- Link it from a CV or portfolio, the URL is permanent
- Publicly verifiable by code, not a PDF anyone can edit
- Issued by EDWartens India, the training centre itself
The course itself stays free whether or not you ever buy one.
Stuck? Ask a practising engineer
A free course usually means a comment section and hope. This one does not. Every module has an Ask-your-trainer panel that reaches the same engineers who teach our paid programme: people who commission panels for a living, not moderators.
- Questions answered in the context of the module you are on
- The same engineers who teach the AEP programme
- Career tools, CV help and public job listings included
- Your progress and notes stay in your account for good

Is this a programming course or a maintenance course?
Mostly engineering and maintenance procedures as performed on a live plant, plus control module building and logic changes; it is the work a site Experion engineer does.
Can I practise without Experion?
Experion is licensed; follow the procedures closely and re-write them as your own SOPs. The free PID and Instrumentation courses cover the control theory with simulators.
Why only two source channels?
Several other Honeywell playlists were in Hindi or could not be verified as English, and were left out.
Is the course really free?
Yes. Every module, practice task and assessment. You create an account so your progress is saved and the assessments can be marked. The certificate is the only paid item, and only if you want it.
What certificate do I get, and is it a Honeywell qualification?
An EDWartens Certificate of Completion, issued when you pass the final assessment, with a verification code anyone can check. It is not a Honeywell credential and is never described as one.
