What are course projects?
The short answer
Many courses have an optional project with a real brief. Submit a write-up of at least 150 characters, with a link or a file, and it is marked against the brief within about a minute. Resubmit as often as you like.

Marked against the brief
Many courses include an optional project with a brief, in the module's Project tab.
- Read the brief and build your answer in the course's software.
- Choose Submit on the projects page.
- Write up what you built (at least 150 characters), and add a link or a file of up to 25 MB.
- Submit. It is marked against the brief and you get feedback, usually within a minute.
You can resubmit as often as you like.
The project is not needed for the certificate, but it gives you something real to show an employer. If you want a person to grade it, a graded review can be bought from Certificates, under graded review of your course project; the price is shown on the page before you pay.
