Enrolling, modules, notes, LADX Mini, classroom and online programmes
- How do I enrol on a course? On the course page choose Enrol now, then Place order, free at checkout. No money is taken, you get a receipt, and the course appears in your portal under My Courses.
- How does a module count as complete?Watch every lesson in the module to 90% or the end, or tick it yourself: Lesson done for one lesson, Mark as done for the whole module. Modules are not locked.
- Does my progress save?Yes. While you watch, your progress saves to your account every 30 seconds, and module completion is saved straight away, so it follows you to any device where you sign in.
- Are the courses available in Hindi or other languages? Not yet. The free courses, their video lessons and the notes are in English, and there is no language setting. Your browser can translate the written notes for you.
- What is the optional lab practice in a course? Some free courses link to optional practice in the free 3D lab at lab.edwartens.com. It opens in your browser, needs no install, and never blocks your progress or your certificate.
- What software do I need? Each course page lists its software and hardware. It is usually the maker's free or trial version with a simulator, and you never need real hardware. Some courses start with no software at all.
- What is LADX Mini?LADX Mini is a ladder-logic simulator built into your portal. Draw ladder logic, press Simulate and watch power flow through the rungs. It is free, needs no install, and saves your projects to your account.
- Can I download or print the notes?Yes. The written notes are in a module's Reading tab. Use the printer button (Print these notes), then print or choose Save as PDF. On a phone, use your browser's own print or share menu.
- Can I take my own notes while I learn?Yes. Each module has a Notes tab, a notepad beside the lesson where you can type, format and draw. Your notes are saved to your account.
- What are course projects? Many courses have an optional project with a real brief. Submit a write-up of at least 150 characters, with a link or a file, and it is marked against the brief within about a minute. Resubmit as often as you like.
- Can I ask a question about a lesson?Yes. Every module has an Ask an engineer tab. Type your question there, optionally pick a trainer, and the reply appears in the same tab. Until then it shows Waiting for a reply.
- How do I join a classroom programme?Book free counselling (by the form or by phone), optionally visit the Electronic City centre, read the programme's terms, then pay as that programme says. Batch dates are on its page.
- What do I see in my portal on a paid programme? On a paid classroom or live online programme your portal adds a Programme group: Sessions, Training Calendar, Attendance, Leave Requests, Assessments and more. The AIP has its own Your AIP home.
