No. A certificate for a free course carries an issue date and no expiry date. Your portal shows Expires: Never. It stays verifiable unless it is withdrawn for dishonest use.

No. A Certificate of Completion for a free course shows the date it was issued and no expiry date: your Certificates page says Expires: Never. It stays verifiable.
A certificate can be withdrawn only if it was obtained dishonestly, for example if the final assessment was not the holder's own work. A withdrawn certificate shows as Not valid in your portal and Not Valid on the verification page.
A certificate pass does end, but only the pass: the certificates you earned while it ran stay yours.
