When is my programme certificate issued?
The short answer
It is issued automatically the moment you meet the last condition for your programme. Each programme has its own list, and nobody has to be asked.
When the certificate appears
1Meet the last condition
A test, project, sign-off or payment
2It is issued at once
Nobody has to be asked
3You are told
An email and a notice in your portal
4Find it under Certificates
A paid programme's certificate is issued by the portal itself, the moment you meet the last condition for your programme. You do not apply for it and nobody has to approve it. It then appears under Certificates, and you get an email and a notice in your portal.

What each programme needs
Every programme also needs no fees outstanding, nothing waiting to be marked and a registration number on your record. The registration number is printed on the certificate and is what verification looks up.
AEP
- Pass every phase gate, from Phase 0 to Phase 5.
- Pass the AEP final practical. Your trainer records it after assessing you. A practical exam you pass in your portal counts in its place.
- Meet the attendance requirement: your enrolment must not be paused at the absence limit.
PGDIA, and EPGDIA live online
- Pass weekly tests 1 to 3 and the final theory paper.
- Pass the Siemens practical, the Delta practical and the viva on your projects. Your trainer records these after assessing you.
- Attend at least 90% of the class days.
- The four projects are portfolio work and are not a condition.
EPGDIA Self-Paced
- Pass weekly tests 1 to 3 and the final theory paper.
- Pass all four graded projects, at 60 marks out of 100 each.
- There are no practicals, viva or attendance in this course.
AIP
- Pass every phase gate test and the final assessment.
- Pass all five graded projects.
If yours has not appeared
Check the list for your programme. Some conditions are not in your hands: a trainer records the practicals and the viva, and an engineer grades a project. When the last one is recorded, or your last payment is, the certificate is issued straight away. If you think everything is done and it has not appeared, ask through Support. The team can see which condition is still open.
For where to find and share it, see How do I get the certificate for a programme?. Anyone can check it: see How can an employer verify a certificate?. It is an EDWartens credential. It is not a university degree, and it is not a UGC- or AICTE-recognised qualification or a vendor certification.
Our team does this for you
If every condition is met and the certificate has not appeared, the team checks which condition is still open.
