I forgot my password
The short answer
Choose Forgot? beside the password box and enter your email. We send a link that works once and lasts one hour; use it to set a new password of at least 8 characters.
Reset your password
Sign in
- Click Forgot?
- Click Send me a link
- Click Open the email
- Click Set my password
Sign in with the new password
- On the sign-in panel, choose Forgot? beside the password box. (On the full sign-in page it reads Forgot your password?)
- Enter the Email address of your account and choose Send me a link. For your privacy, the page says the same thing whether or not an account exists.
- Open the link in the email within one hour.
- Enter your new password twice (at least 8 characters) and choose Set my password.
- Sign in with the new password.
Asking again cancels the earlier link, so always use the newest email. If you never confirmed your email address, do that first: see I did not get the confirmation email.
