I cannot sign in

The short answer

Check you have confirmed your email, that the address is right, and reset your password if you are not sure of it. After too many wrong tries, wait a little or reset your password.

What does the panel say?

Which message do you see?

  • Confirm your email address first

Open the link we sent, or choose Send the link again.

  • Invalid email or password

    Check both, or choose Forgot?

  • Too many sign-in attempts

Wait the time shown, or reset your password.

Work through these in order:

  1. Confirm your email. If the panel asks you to confirm your email first, open the link we sent, or choose Send the link again. See I did not get the confirmation email.
  2. Check the address. If you typed capital letters, the panel offers the lower-case version: choose Use with your address.
  3. Check the password. "Invalid email or password" means one of the two is wrong. Use the eye button to show the password, or reset it.
  4. Too many attempts? The panel tells you how long to wait. You can reset your password straight away instead.
  5. Cookies. Sign-in needs cookies. A private window, or clearing cookies, signs you out.

A sign-in lasts up to 30 days on each device. Remember that edwartens.com is a separate site: an account there does not sign you in here.

If none of this works, see How do I reach a person? and give the email you use.
