Where do I find job openings?
The short answer
Open Openings in your portal's Career menu. It lists automation roles from your placement team and from employers' career sites, refreshed twice a day. You apply on the employer's own site.
Find openings
Your portal
- Click Career
- Click Openings
- Click Search
Apply on the employer's own site
Openings is in the Career group of your portal menu. It is open to every learner, including those on free courses.
What you see:
- From your placement team at the top: roles our team has sourced. If there are none, it says so, and your placement officer posts roles as they come in.
- New in the last 24 hours: roles that arrived since yesterday.
- The rest of the board: automation roles we track, many straight from employers' career sites, refreshed twice a day.
To narrow the list, type a keyword such as PLC, SCADA or panel design, choose a city (Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai or Kochi), and tick Include senior roles if you want more than fresher roles. Then choose Search.
You apply on the employer's own site: EDWartens does not take applications for them. The bookmark on a role records it in My Applications, and the envelope starts a cover letter for that role: see How do I keep track of jobs I applied for?.
You can also switch on Job alerts under Settings, Notifications, to be told in the portal when the placement team posts an opening.
EDWartens never charges anyone a fee for finding work. If someone asks you for money in our name, tell us.
