How do I book a resume review or mock interview?
The short answer
Every paid programme includes career sessions. Open Career sessions in your portal and choose Book a slot once a session has opened for your programme. The placement team confirms it with a meeting link.
Book a career session
Your portal
- Click Career
- Click Career sessions
- Click Book a slot
- Click Book this slot
Booked, awaiting confirmation, then a meeting link
Every paid programme (the AEP, PGDIA, EPGDIA live online and self-paced, and the AIP) includes one-to-one online sessions with the EDWartens placement team. They are part of your programme, and you book them yourself when you are ready.
What you get
- 2 resume reviews (30 minutes). A placement officer reads your CV and LinkedIn with you on a video call and tells you what to change before you apply.
- 2 mock technical interviews (45 minutes), run the way employers in your field run them, with written feedback afterwards.
- 2 mock HR interviews (30 minutes): your introduction, why this career, relocation, shifts and site travel, notice period and salary questions, with written feedback afterwards.
When each one opens
When your sessions open
| Detail | Resume reviews | Mock interviews |
|---|---|---|
| AEP | Once you pass Phase 3 (Allen-Bradley) | Once you reach Phase 5, interview preparation |
| PGDIA and EPGDIA live | Once you pass the week 2 test | Once you pass the week 3 test, for your career week |
| EPGDIA Self-Paced | Once you pass the week 2 test | Once you pass the final |
| AIP | After you pass the Phase 2 gate test | After you pass the final assessment |

How to book
- Open Career sessions, under Career in your menu.
- Find the session. Each card shows how many of your 2 are left.
- Choose Book a slot, pick a day and a time, and add a note if you like, such as the roles you are applying for.
- Choose Book this slot. It shows under Upcoming as Booked, awaiting confirmation.
- The placement team confirms it and adds a meeting link. It then reads Confirmed, with Join the meeting.
- After the session, the written feedback appears under Past sessions and feedback.
Sessions run Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 18:00 IST, except published holidays. You can book from 4 hours to 21 days ahead. You can hold one booking of each kind at a time.
Changing or cancelling
Choose Reschedule or Cancel up to 2 hours before the start. A cancelled session is not used up, so you can book another time. A session you miss without cancelling counts as used and shows as Missed.
Career sessions are practice and advice. Placement support is separate: see What placement help is there?.
Our team does this for you
If a session has not opened when it should, or no meeting link has arrived, the placement team sorts it out.
